Office-based roles

Open positions in operations, account management, regulatory tracking, and engineering are posted as they become available. BARS office roles are typically remote-friendly with periodic in-person team meetings.

Field-based BARS Checker positions

BARS hires verified 21 to 25 year olds to run compliance checks in their local market. Here is the whole job. You carry an age-restricted product to the register. The associate either asks for your ID or does not. Nothing is purchased, and no money changes hands. Then you hand the associate a Green Card if they carded you, or a Red Card if they did not, and you leave. Store teams already know the program runs. They just do not know which customer is the check until the card is in their hand. Visits are short, scheduled during normal business hours, and paid per visit. A background check, age verification, and brief training are required.
